About The FACES Project:
We Are made up of Vermont families that have been personally impacted by substance use and/or mental health issues.
Our Mission is to involve families in shaping services regarding substance use and mental health issues across Vermont.
We Believe the family voice is powerful and must be heard on the local, state and federal level.
Our Goal is to provide peer support and participate in advocacy initiatives regardless of where the journey begins (prevention) or where it leads (treatment) or how long it takes (long-term recovery)…
We Envision:
Supporting and educating families
Changing attitudes
Empowering families to help create policy changes
The FACES Project has a Family Advisory Board of consultants who are available to meet with community members and professionals.
We Value:
Positive, strength based approaches
Build on what’s working, change what’s not
Opportunities to engage on all levels
